Awesome service from Mark. Thank you! I wanted to support a local business instead of a big store, Mark helped me get a pair of speakers, receiver, turntable plus all the fixing for much less than anywhere else. Great selection of vinyl too, left very happy and spent the night blasting Tschaikowsky, Miles Davis, and John Lee Hooker. Will be back for all my audio needs. Thanks again

Went in yesterday looking to upgrade my turntable and speaker setup. Mark was awesome. He walked me through all of my options- used and new. He gave me a demo of the speakers, and even sent me home with the turntable fully set up! Love my new setup and am grateful for Marks assistance!

Very friendly and professional staff . Great and carefully selected of vinyl and CD‘s if a bit smaller than some places but all quality. Outstanding selection of used audio/hi fi gear at great prices and they are great at repairing yours too ! Nice listening room in the back for new and used gear too! Highly recommend!

I was a total vinyl neophyte but decided to get a record player on a whim from a suspect secondhand dealer. When it didn’t work, I began going to Hi Fi Lounge after they offered to help me figure out what was wrong with my player. The product ended up being defective! After I returned the third party record player, Mark walked me through picking a better quality player at his store, and walked me through the basics on how to use it. Everybody at this store seems passionate, patient and knowledgable, and I will be coming here regularly. If you like vinyl, stop in.

I have known Mark for decades. He offers fine vinyl, CDs and a range of audio gear selected for quality and price point. He is knowledgeable and patiently helpful with both music media and gear. Just replaced a cartridge and serviced my turntable. He's the best. Support our local merchants!!

I was visiting Rochester from out of town and the Hi Fi Lounge was recommended to me as a great place to look for a turntable. The place had so many great records and components! Mark was very helpful in helping me find a record player that fit my needs (first time buying one in over 30 years) and my budget. He even put a brand-new stylus on it to assure I had the best possible experience. Once I got it back home, I had questions on how to operate it and called the store. Mark was very patient, kind and compassionate in assisting me. I’ve now got the turntable connected to my home system and couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Hi Fi Lounge to anyone who needs a component or a cool record or three. I will definitely drive the two-hours back the next time I’m shopping for components or want to find a record for my collection.

Need to have your vintage audio equipment serviced? Look no further than Mark and his top-notch technicians at HiFi Lounge. I recently brought in my original Krell KSA 100 amp for a check up to look at bias, dc offset, etc., and to see if anything needed replacement internally. Service was fast and professional. The amp came back sounding better than the day it was new! And his tech was honest. No parts needed replacement, only minor Bias adjustments and such. Those “minor” adjustments made a world of difference. It’s getting harder to find competent technicians to work on truly high-end vintage equipment, but I’ve found a diamond in the rough. Check out Mark’s place for vinyl, CDs, used and NEW audio. A+++

I got a vintage turn table from an estate sale. Mark helped me not only understand what I had but how to maximize my experience without breaking the bank. He was so nice and helpful. Fixed the player to like new and was great the whole way. Even after when I had questions he was still patient and super kind. Can’t go wrong visiting the shop.

I happen to come across this store while being in town on a business trip. Described my issue of low volume coming from the record player to receiver and the owner knew exactly what the issue was to balance things out. When I got home and plugged in the device sold to me everything was perfect. Here's the thing, I wasn't planning on stopping in to resolve an issue but out of the blue this amazing owner was able to help me with a simple question. Bravo! I cannot recommend his business and service enough!
